NEWS FLASH

THE KEY TO WOMEN’S SAFETY

You know what it’s like ladies - we’ve all been there - as we try to find our car keys in the depths of our handbags all we seem to be able to lay our hands on is our lippie, purse and oversized sunglasses. What’s a girl to do? Well, we think we have found the perfect solution…

The Sheilas’ Wheels KeyRing

The Sheilas Ring
  • A car key that doubles up as a wearable and, we think you‘ll agree, glamorous cocktail ring
  • The ring allows you to lock and unlock your car quickly and easily by simply pressing the ring‘s gemstone
  • Once inside your car, you can then safely search in your tardis-like bag for your standard car keys. Stress free

Why have we made it?

  • Research reveals that women are becoming increasingly distracted and exposed to crime, spending on average 416 hours in their lifetime - two and a half weeks - rifling through their handbags in search of ‘buried’ car keys
  • Further to this, a third of female motorists also claim to, understandably, feel panicked and anxious about not being able to locate their keys quickly enough when close to their cars - particularly when returning to them alone or at night
  • So naturally, we wanted to find a solution. Enter the Sheilas’ Wheels KeyRing…

Where can you get one?

  • The KeyRing is currently a prototype but we have approached car manufacturers with a view to nationwide production and distribution – so watch this space…

Love the Keyring

Hate the Keyring

As over 2.2 million female motorists have had either their bag or its contents stolen when distracted, and over a third of those women polled often feel vulnerable to crime when searching through their handbags for car keys, Sheilas‘ Wheels has teamed up with the Suzy Lamplugh Trust to provide female motorists with some top safety tips. For further information and safety advice, please visit sheilaswheels.com or www.suzylamplugh.org.
